Monsoon Activities :MoI holds tree-planting and fingerling-releasing ceremony

Ministry of Information held the 2023 monsoon tree-planting and fingerling-releasing ceremony in the MRTV compound in Nay Pyi Taw Tutkone.

The monsoon tree-planting activity began with Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn distributing saplings to high-ranking officials of the Ministry. And, the Union Minister and wife planted Cobra's Saffron and Starflower saplings in designated site followed by Deputy Minister U Ye Tint and many other officials planting teak and other kinds of saplings.

The Union Minister also viewed the staff and their family members planting saplings. In the fingerling-releasing ceremony at the fish pond (1), the Union Minister and wife also released fingerlings followed by the Deputy Minister and many other officials releasing fingerlings.

There, the Union Minister also inspected the farming keeping180 goats and the 2023 monsoon mango field and gave necessary instructions. It’s reported that during this 2023 monsoon tree-planting and fingerling-releasing ceremony, 2,025 saplings were planted and 5,000 fingerlings were released.

On the same day, at the Ministry, the Union Minister met with company officials who won tenders for the required materials at the Ministry and called for quality materials and timely provision.
