





The State Peace Talks Team (SPTT) and five Peace Process Steering Team (PPST) members ALP, DKBA, KNU/KNLA-PC, LDU and PNLO which have signed the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement held their 2nd day meeting at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.
This meeting was attended by Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister at the Union Government Office Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen YarPyae, Member of the SAC Lt-Gen Moe MyintTun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein and members, Chair of Arakan Liberation Party (ALP) Saw Mra Raza Lin , Saw Sein Win at the rank of Adjutant-General of Democratic Karen Benevolent Army (DKBA), Vice Chair of KNU/KNLA-Peace Council Dr. Naw Kapaw Htoo, Vice Chairman of Lahu Democratic Union (LDU) Kya Phoo and Patron of Pa-O National Liberation Organization (PNLO) Phyar Tan KhunOkkar.
The meeting focused on common agreement negotiated between NCA-S EAOs, federal principles, humanitarian aid and attitudes of NCA-S EAOs towards a plan to be able to hold a meeting between the UWSP, NDAA, SSPP and political parties. And, drafts were discussed to reach an agreement after two days of discussions and negotiations. Their 3rd day meeting is set to take place on the 28th of June and the two sides will sign the same opinions as agreements, it’s reported.
