




The charity feast of buttered rice and chilli fried anchovy and groundnut was conducted as 27th day on 25th of June in Sittwe township of Rakhine State where cyclonic storm Mocha affected. In the morning session of donation, totaling 6,500 meal boxes of buttered rice and chilli fried anchovy were catered and 6,500 in the evening.
The charity feast went to the Sittwe station, Buddhist monasteries, nunneries and other religious places, Nursing and Midwife Training School, volunteer groups, departmental personnel who are carrying out the rehabilitation works, technical training school and computer university renovation volunteer groups, philanthropic centers, patients undergoing treatments given by the specialists from Sittwe People’s Hospital, the residents from Shwe Pya village, in the morning and Dar Paing, Thae Chaung, Bu May Basarar, Hla Ma Che, Kyaung Gyi Lan, Aung Mingalar (North) and Sut Yoe Kya ward, in the evening.
The Union Minister for Cooperative and Rural Development U Hla Moe who is currently in Rakhine State to oversee the rehabilitation tasks, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, Deputy Ministers and officials participated in providing meal boxes to the patients undergoing treatments given by the specialists from Sittwe People’s Hospital and caretakers of the patients.

Up to the date of Charity feast’s 27th day, totaling 339,248 vegetable biryani and curry and rice meal boxes have been donated.
