Victorious Athletes Honoured: Tatmadaw athletes awarded for their achievements

An honoring ceremony for Tatmadaw athletes and coaches who participated in the 32nd SEA Games and 12th ASEAN Para Games was held at the Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.

At the ceremony, Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing delivered a speech.

In his speech, the Senior General expressed his appreciation for the athletes including Tatmadaw athletes who had demonstrated great determination in bringing prestige to the State through their outstanding performances and upholding the spirit of the Tatmadaw.

He particularly praised those who made sacrifices for the State and commended their achievements. The Senior General urged all to encourage and support other Tatmadawmen to participate in the sports activities for their health.

Then, the Senior General and wife presented certificates of honour and cash of honour to the winning athletes at the 32nd SEA Games and 12th ASEAN Para Games.

Next, Vice Chairman of the SAC Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) and wife, and senior military officers presented the certificates of honour and cash of honour to the winning athletes and coaches respectively.

On behalf of the Tatmadaw Athletes and coaches, Sergeant Soe Pay expressed gratitude for the recognition and support they received.

Next, the Senior General and wife and party hosted a tea party for the Tatmadaw athletes and coaches who has achieved success in the 32nd SEA Games and 12th ASEAN Para Games, while the Myawaday Music troupe entertained with the songs.
