





Kachin State government provided cash for strong wind affected households in Palana village-tract in Myitkyina township, Kachin State by heavy rains and hail-stones and fire victims of 300 households in SaeZin village, Phakant township.
The provision ceremony was held at the State Government office on Thursday and Kachin State Chief Minister U KhetHtein Nan said that cash assistance would be provided forthe resettlement of the locals from Palana village in Myitkyina township and SaeZin village in Phakant township at the event.
More assistance will be provided for improvement of eduction, health, regional development and socio-economic life of the people in the villages.
Later, the State Chief Minister presented 100 million kyats for 759 people of 300 households in Saezin village, Phakant township and the Chief Justice of the State Court U Tuu Jar presented 60 million kyats for 680 peopleof 120 strong wind affected households in Palana village-tract in Myitkyina township and the head of the State Disaster Management Department provided 6 million kyats to provide rice for fire victims of Saezin village for one month.
In the afternoon, the State Chief Minister discussed KanPaingTi Economic Zone Project MoA(Final draft) with members of the State Level Committee for the establishment of China-Myanmar Border Economic Cooperation Zoneat the State Government Office.
Officials reported on admendments of KanPaingTi Economic Zone Project MoA(Final draft)and the Chief Minister urged to approve the draft of the entire process in line with rule and regulation by sending to the Union level and fulfilled the requirements.
