Chinese monk’s donation: Cash donated for monks, nuns and monastic schools

The Chishar temple Sayadaw Ven. Qianze in Guilin of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China donated cash for the stationeries for monks and nuns who are learning at the monasteries in Myanmar and the students in the monastic schools.

The donated cash were handed over with a ceremony to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture on Thursday. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Htut, Deputy Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Daw Nu Mra Zan, permanent secretary and officials.

At the ceremony, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs explained about the purpose of 8000 Yuan cash donation by Chishar Temple Saydaw for monks and nuns from the monasteries in Myanmar and students in the monastic schools.

Later, deputy minister for Religious Affairs and Culture explained about monastic schools under the Ministry and on behalf of ….temple sayadaw, Deputy Minister U Kyaw Myo Htut handed over donated cash to the Deputy Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture who gave in turn certificate of honour.
