Coordination meeting: Meeting discussed CMP Export and Import issues

The coordination meeting 2/2023 of the CMP (Cutting, Making, and Packaging) Export and Import Supervision Subcommittee took place at the office of the UMFCCI in Yangon Sunday morning.

Deputy Minister for Commerce U Nyunt Aung, departmental officials who are members of the subcommittee, the Secretary of the Working Committee on Ensuring the Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods, the UMFCCI General Secretary, chairs of associations related to CMP, representatives, and members of the CMP Business Inspection Subcommittee participated in the meeting.

In the meeting, they discussed issues related to the decisions of the subcommittee on the 1/2023 coordination meeting, the import and export operations of CMP companies by industrial zone, changes in the number of export and import companies for CMP, the condition of increasing export according to the lists of import and export, programmes that will be carried out to better understand the relevant processes according to the conditions of CMP operations on the ground, and issues to be done in the pharmaceutical manufacturing and export business with the CMP system.
