Sausage dogs owners rejoice after breaking Guinness world record

Dachshund owners are celebrating in Melbourne on Sunday after breaking a Guinness world record for the largest walk by a single breed. Thousands of little furry legs have been spotted walking around Melbourne. Those rules include only one dog can be walked with one person and dogs in prams will be counted.

Despite the cold, the four-legged friends were allowed to wear their winter coats despite the other rule that fancy dress is banned. The registered official tally was 1,385, beating the old record by 356 set by beagles and their owners in the UK on April 22, 2018.
