







The third-place match and final football match to raise fund for the rehabilitation works in Rakhine State and cash donation ceremony was held at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon on 17th July.
The event featured an entertaining programme before the start of the football match during the short break. During the third-place match, Old Star FC team beat Forever FC team 7-6 in penalty shootouts. During final match, Music FC team beat Movie FC team 2-1.
Issani, Singer said "I’m glad that I’m able to participate in supporting rehabilitation works in Cyclone ‘MOCHA’ hit Rakhine State. I tried my best in our match even though I’m not good at playing football. And, I would like to thanks to all the audiences who cheered up us during the match."
After football match, the cash donation ceremony continued and Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn and officials accepted the cash donated by well-wishers and presented certificates of honor to the well-wishers.
This was followed by award presenting ceremony to the winner teams by Union Minister and officials and Forever FC team won The Cleanest Award, Old Star FC team won 3rd Award, Movie FC team won 2nd Award and Music FC team won 1st Award.
All the proceeds generated from ticket sales for the football matches and cash donated by well-wishers will be donated to support the rehabilitation efforts in the areas affected by Cyclone Mocha.
