Electrification: MoBA provides home solar sets in Rakhine State

The Department of Border Areas and National Races and Development Affairs under the Ministry of Border Affairs provided 500 sets of W50 home solar for 9 villages that do not have electricity and also for clinic, library and monasteries in Manaung Township of Rakhine State.

At the ceremony, Brigadier General Kyaw Kyaw Oo who is currently in the township for rehabilitation works delivered a speech and the assistant director U Win Thein who in charge of Taungup District Development Supervisory Office explained the reason for this home solar provision.

And, Brigadier General Kyaw Kyaw Oo, assistant director U Win Thein, Chairman of the Township Administration Committee U Min Zaw Hein and members provided 500 sets of W50 home solar.
