Edirne Lavender Days

The 6th "Lavender Field Days" started in Edirne province of Türkiye organized by the Governorship of Edirne. Lavender blossomed and a fragrant scent surrounded the city. Tourists are flocking to the lavender fields that smell like fragrance.

Lavender has recently been a preferred plant in the region due to its high yield. Lavender oil costs about 100 euros per liter. An average of 8 liters of oil is obtained per acre. Lavender oil is in the essential oils class and is used in the cosmetics industry. Edirne lavender field days event will continue until June 20.
