Sport Sector: 10-township under U-19 women’s football tournament

The opening of the 10-township under U-19 women’s football tournament for the Mon State Chief Minister’s trophy took place in Mawlamyaing township and was attended by Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, Regional Ministers and other departmental officials.

In his address at this football tournament opening, the Chief Minister highlighted the Mon state government’s efforts for the sports sector development in the state and purpose of the tournament. And, the chief minister and members watched the first match of Kyaikto and Bilin township team.

The 10-township under U-19 women’s football tournament will take place from 15th to 30th June, it’s reported.
