

An international rowing race wowed spectators in Zhengzhou City of central China's Henan Province on Saturday. The regatta, dubbed the "Belt and Road" Henan Zhengzhou Longzi Lake School Rowing Challenge, attracted 350 athletes and 43 teams from seven countries to participate.
The athletes were divided into male and female groups and competed in two items -- 5.1 kilometer circular trail and 500m straightway. Impressively, the teams from a local trade school, called Henan Institute of Economics and Trade, which was taking part in the race for the first time won two championships in both the men's 5.1 kilometer and the women's 500-meter races.
The Longzi Lake in Zhengzhou is the first circular rowing track in China and has attained an international reputation, attracting numerous rowing enthusiasts to participate in races every year.
