Investment Affairs: Sagaing Region Government’s investment meeting

The Sagaing Region Government held its investment meeting 5/2023 at the government office on 13th June. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Regional Investment Committee Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and Regional Government members, committee members and officials.

First, the Chief Minister said that the meeting was to make decision on the approvals submitted for iron and steel-based products manufacturing in Kyauk Tar Village Tract of Sagaing Township and signal cable manufacturing in Padamya Ward of Sagaing Township. He also urged the committee members to make efforts to attract investments in industrial, agricultural and livestock breeding sectors.

Then, director of the directorate of Regional Investment and Company Administration made a power point presentation on the matters regarding making decisions on approvals. Also, the attendees made discussions regarding the investment sector and the Chief Minister coordinated the reports.
