Trade and Investment: Union Minister for Commerce attends seminar in India

Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo who is currently in Kolkata of India to attend the BIMSTEC Business Conclave attended the trade and investment opportunities seminar sponsored by the Engineering Export Promotion Council-EEPC of the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

During the seminar, the Union Minister discussed the situation and prospects of boosting bilateral trade, opportunities to enhance investments and cooperation on the use of Kyats and Rupees in bilateral trade. He also answered the queries raised by the attendees. After the seminar, the Union Minister visited the ETG Processing Plant in Kolkata, a factory producing value-added pulses imported from abroad.
