






The Shan State Immigration and Population Department launched a course on the use of Biometric Enrollment and UID Management System on Monday.
In this course opening at the Town Hall in Taunggyi, Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye said that under the upcoming Biometric Enrollment project, governmental employees and their family members, students aged above 10, inmates/prisoners, private banks and financial services, monks, nuns and parishioners will be prioritized.
Upon completion, the state government will cooperate with relevant ministries for passport, tax and driving license issues, company registration and issuance of UID card for financial services in banks.
In order to successfully complete the project, the Chief Minister urged trainees to stay on the course. Also, the Biometric Enrollment process and UID Management System was explained before the cash assistance provision for the trainees.
This use of Biometric Enrollment and UID Management System course joined by 40 trainees is set to take place till the 16th of June.
