Illegal Trade: Illegal goods, timber and vehicle confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 6th and 7th of June, illegal goods including ceramic tiles and motorcycle headlights as well as illegal teak and timber and an unregistered vehicle worth over 114 million Kyats were confiscated at the Myanmar Industrial Port container checkpoint and at the 19th Mile post as well as in Bago district and in Nyaunglebin township.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
