Inspection of Rehabilitation Tasks: Union Ministers inspected rehabilitation tasks

Union Ministers Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, U Myo Thant, Dr. Thet Thet Khine, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin inspected the unloading rescue and rehabilitation items from the vessels berthed at Sittwe Port of Kaladan Multi-Model Transit Transport Project and the rehabilitation works along the strand road of Sittwe in the afternoon on Friday.

First, Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and party inspected transferring corrugated iron sheets, lumbers, bricks and cement bags onto the motor vehicles from the MCL-3, MCL-5 and CHARITES ships.

While viewing the loading and unloading the items, the Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung gave necessary instructions and to prioritize safety of workplace.

Then, the members of Police Force who are volunteering at the port were cordially greeted and the responsible officials were instructed to assign alternatively to have off day to rest and supervise to fulfill basic needs and health.

Afterward, the Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and party inspected the rehabilitation works along the Sittwe strand road and rising of tide due to the weather condition.
