Drug Seizure: Over 0.88 million stimutlant tablets seized in Thazi

Over 0.88 million stimutlant tablets worth more than 1.33 billion kyats were seized in Thazi Township, Mandalay Region, according to Myanmar Police Force.

Members of Anti- Drug Force searched a passenger express running from Taunggyi to Thazi at Kywe Tat Sone Inspection Camp in Thazi township of Mandalay Region on 4th June and seized 0.88 million stimulant tablets valued at over 1.33 billion kyats that was hidden inside the back seat cushion bed by two passengers.

According to the investigation, the stimulant tablets were transported to Myawaddy, Kayin State from Taunggyi, Shan State (South). The culprits are taken actions in accordance with the law and investigations are underway to expose those who involved in the incident.
