COVID-19 Update: 96 new COVID-19 cases reported on June 8

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 70 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 8,011 patients within 24 hours. At the time of report, there is no patient who died due to the disease while 35 patients have recovered from the disease. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar reached 639,475 and the death toll stands at 19,494 and the number of recovered patients is 618,398.
