Meeting With Dentists: MoH Union Minister held meeting with dentists

A meeting with the dentists serving at the Department of Public Health and Department of Medical Services was held at the Ministry of Health, Nay Pyi Taw on 7th June and it was attended by Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win, Deputy Minister, Director Generals and other officials. During the meeting, the Union Minister gave a speech of honor to the dentists participated in the diseases prevention, COVID-19 vaccination and control activities during the COVID-19 epidemic, areas affected by natural disasters such as MOCHA storm, and participated in mobile medical activities cooperating with Military Medical service personnel. 

To develop the dental health sector and achieve the Universal Health Coverage –UHC which is priority process of Ministry of Health, the Ministry has been carries out effectively to provide dental medical services to the public from the township and districts to the rural areas, the Ministry has been carries out to provide dentists, dental chairs and necessary medical equipments in every townships, to provide public health and medical services for the benefit of public, also the Ministry have carried out the masters and PhD courses to develop the dentist’s profession and career opportunities.

Then, the deputy Minister reported works on education opportunities for dentists and the systematically collected list of necessary medical equipments. And the other officials reported implementation on related tasks and Union Minster and relevant officials fulfilled requirements.
