







Union Minister for Border Affairs, Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung together with the Union Ministers U Myo Thant, Dr. Thet Thet Khine and Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin inspected Nursing and Midwife training school (Sittwe) and attended the demonstrated ploughing on model paddy plot and ceremony of presenting rice seeds in the morning on 7th June.
At the Nursing and Midwife training school (Sittwe), the Lt-Gen TunTunNaung met with the principal, teachers and trainees and gave words of encouragement, inspected class room, mess hall, dormitory and staff housing and provided cash for the trainees.
At the demonstrated ploughing on model paddy plot and the ceremony of presenting rice seeds, the Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and Chief Minister U Htein Lin gave the remarks and the deputy minister for agriculture, livestock and irrigation clarified about the demonstrated ploughing and ceremony of providing seeds.
Next, the Union Ministers, chief minister and deputy minister provided Hsin Thwe Latt rice seeds and GW-11 rice seeds produced by the seeds division of agriculture department for the farmers in Pyar Lae Chaung Village and one of local farmers extended words of thanks. Then, the attendees viewed the demonstrated ploughing in the monsoon model paddy plots with the New Holland tractors provided for the Rakhine State Development Project.
The Lt-Gen and party also attended the demonstrated ploughing and ceremony of providing seeds held in YwaThit Kay Village. At the ceremony, Lt-Gen TunTunNaung gave the remark and the deputy minister for agriculture, livestock and irrigation clarified about the demonstrated ploughing and ceremony of providing seeds.
