Letter of Appreciation: Final Rites of Late BhamoSayadaw

Chairman of the State Sangha MahaNayaka Committee and Presiding Sayadaw of Bhamo Monastery DrBhaddanta Kumara Bhivamsa passed away on 25th May, at the age of 94 and 74 vasa.

The Final Rites of the Late BhamoSayadaw was held in a grand manner on 6th June as the State Level event after receiving Ovadas from the Sayadaws, with the guidance of the Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister.

The Steering Committee for Organizing the Final Rites on Wednesday released a Letter of Appreciation to all concerned persons and organizations who took part holding the Final Rites for their contributions. They expressed their heartfelt thanks to the Sayadaws, members of the Sangha and Nuns as well as the members of the Steering Committee and Work Committees.

The appreciations also went to Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife, SAC Joint Secretary and member, the Union Ministers, Senior Military Officers and their wives, Mandalay Region Chief Minister and the Regional Cabinet members, Central Command Commander and military officers, Tatmadawmen and families, Mandalay City Development Committee, Regional departmental personnel, District and Township Administration Committees, religious associations, Inter-Faith Organizations, Karaweik Float, officials and students from the Sports and Physical Education Institute (Mandalay), Social Organizations, relatives of the Late Sayadaw, Laypersons, artistes, religious organizations and well-wishers from all across the country.

They also expressed appreciations to the local and foreign dignitaries who sent the messages of condolences and Myanma Radio and Television for broadcasting live on the Ash Drifting Ritual of the Late Sayadaw. They also thanks to the public who paid final obeisance to the Late Sayadaw along the route of procession.
