Legal Awareness :Legal Awareness Course opened for departmental heads

Opening Ceremony of Legal Awareness Course No.3 for the departmental heads was held at the Ministry of Legal Affairs on 7th June. In her opening speech, the Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Union Attorney General DrThidaOo said that the training course will focus on the legal affairs such as drafting the Constitution and laws that should be known by departmental heads, securitizing business agreements and contracts, applying of the International and ASEAN laws, Criminal and Special laws, and civil cases.

Departmental heads of the Union level organizations, Region/State Advocate Generals, experts who retired from the Ministry and legal experts will conduct the said matters. After the course, the attendees will be presented the completion certificates and the Degree of Diploma in Law will be confered if the Institute of Law Education is opened.

A total of 37 attendees including the Directors General, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, commandants, Deputy Directors General, Pro-rectors amd general managers of respective ministries, Union Election Commission, Union Auditor-General office, the Union Civil Service Board and Anti-Corruption joined the course.

The course will be conducted for 10 weeks every Thursday, Friday and Sataurday. The trainees will serve the interest of the Ministry and the state by applying the legal subjects taught at the training in the work field.
