Illegal trade: Consumer goods, electronics, animals, vehicles seized

An effective action is being taken to prevent illegal trade under the law supervised by the Illegal Trade Eradication Steering Committee.

On 28 May, one Honda Fit motor vehicle near Kwye Thoe Myaung Village of Minbu Township, 165 catles and five Nissan motor vehicles loaded those cattles, 2 UD trucks, a Hino and a Double Cap vehicles on Ayeyawady Bridge (Malun) in Min Hla Township were confiscated.

On, June 4, three kinds of goods including 500 PP bags and a Toyata Hiace vehicle near Asia Road in Myawady Township and 2,400 sacks of Dreamy Coffee in a warehouse in ward No (6), Asia Road in Myawady Township were captured.

(160) units of 81 inches Stand Fan on a vehicle headed to Yangon from Myawady, Mitsubishi FusoTractor Head and a trailor loaded those illegal goods were nabbed.

Therefore, 7 arrests (estimated value of over 1.087 billion Kyats) were made on May 28 and June 4, according to the Illegal Trade Eradication Steering Committee.
