



As the humanitarian, The Sky Net for people, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Public Co., Ltd, Myanmar-India-China International Cooperation & Economic Development Association (MICA) and Inter-Faith Friendship Organization jointly made the donation of vegetable biryani to the villagers of Kyat Taw Pyin Village on 4th of June.
The donation of vegetable biryani in Kyat Taw Pyin Village was made under the 30-day charity feast program.
The ward administrator and one of the villagers expressed their feelings upon donation which is made in their village during these difficult times.
Ward administrator, said " About 120 houses were damaged by the cyclone in our village and the roofs of some houses were rip off. Some people are evacuated to safer areas like monastery and stadium. The government provide foodstuff and medical equipment. All the roads are blocked due to fallen trees but with the effort of villagers, we can clear the road quickly. As the impacts of the cyclone, we have no place and we build shelter with the tarpaulin provided by the government. I am very pleased for providing vegetable biryani to our village."
Dweller(Kyat Taw Pyin ), said " Most of the houses in our village were damaged due to cyclone. This is the first time I experience the cyclone. After the cyclone, we face difficulties in basic needs. During like this hard times, the donors and well-wishers emerged fortunately. We overcome this situation conveniently by consuming items donated by the donors I am really appreciate of donors due to giving help during hard times."
Kyat Taw Pyin Village is located 12 miles north of Sittwe. There are 265 household and over 800 villagers and over 200 houses in Kyat Taw Pyin Village. Most of the local people make a living from livestock and agriculture. Due to the extremely severe cyclone MOCHA which hit in May, houses were damaged, some villagers got minor injuries and cattle were killed in Kyat Taw Pyin Village.
