Psychological Safety: 13 children transferred from Sittwe Child Care Center to NPT

The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement has made arrangements for the transfer of 13 children, 8 men and 5 women from Sittwe Child Care Center to Nay Pyi Taw Child Care Center for the psychological safety due to the cyclone Mocha that hit on 14th May.

Among them, 13 children, together with 3 caregivers left from Sittwe on Friday and they arrived at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport in the same evening. On their arrival at the airport, the Deputy Director General of the Social Welfare Department and officials warmly welcomed them.

At Nay Pyi Taw Child Care Center, Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khaing, Permanent Secretary, Director General of Social Welfare Department and officials met with the children and fulfilled their needs.
