Development Works: Tourism, education and prawn breeding in Myeik

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Aung Thaw, together with Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko and officials, met with the departmental personnel and officials from private organizations related to the tourism industry in Myeik on Friday.

The Union Minister said the Ministry will provide for smooth process of work undertakings for tour operators in cooperation with the regional government. He also called for cooperative efforts of the entrepreneurs and departmental personnel.

The Chief Minister also discussed for systematic implementation of work process for the success of the tourism industry. The Union Minister and party later visited Pa Htet Village High School in Kyunsu Township, and provided exercise books, stationary and umbrella for the students.

They then arrived at Prawn Breeding Farm of Pyae Phyo Tun International Company Limited, and inspected the breeding of sea water prawn and production process.
