Land Management: Central Committee meeting for Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land

10th Coordination meeting on Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land Management Central Committee  was held at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation in Nay Pyi Taw on 2nd June.

The meeting was attended by Central Committee Chairman Union Minister U Min Naung,  Deputy chairpersons and committee members.

At the meeting, the Union Minister said those who applied for the utilizing of Vacant and Virgin land are being permitted to use the land in line with the law and bylaws.

It is necessary to implement the permitted projects during the set period. In doing so, the enterpreneurs and the State will receive the benefits and the power of productivity will be developed.

He stressed the need to pay taxation for the land fully without arrear charges, and urged the Central committee members to inform about the rules and regulations of the tax to the land users.

Then, the Central Committee Secretary presented the matters related to the meeting and the attendees made general round of discussion.
