Efforts for Education: Ministry of Labour provides stipend for students

Departments under the Ministry of Labour provided stipend for the 2023-2024 Academic Year students of civil service personnel at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday. Union Minister for Labour Dr. Pwint San and many other officials attended this stipend provision ceremony.

In his remarks, the Union Minister said to establish a Democracy and Federalism based Union also with education sector, Chairman of the State Administration Council is putting efforts to improve all-round educational development.

The Union Minister stressed that the educated person can assist the development of socio-economic status of people and all need to encourage all school-aged children to pursue their education.

He also urged the departmental officials and parents to participate in emergence of educated human resources for the development of the country. And, the Union Minister and related officials presented stipend worth over 12 million kyats for over 1,000 students.
