Extention of Visa Exemption : MOIP Union Minister receives Sri Lankan Ambassador to Myanmar

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing received Sri Lankan Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. J.M.J.P Bandara at the Ministry on Thursday.

On the occassion, discussions were made on the cooperation for Immigration sector and matters related to visa exemption between the two countries. They also talked about the extension of MoU on visa exemption signed between

Myanmar and Sri Lanka in 2019,  ways to be carried out in accordance with the Immigration procedure for Sri Lankan citizens arriving in Myanmar due to human trafficking and issuing of passports and entry visa for the Myanmar citizens who will be visiting Sri Lanka for pilgrimage.
