Illegal Trade: Illegal goods and vehicle confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the26th, 27th and 28th of May, illegal goods including yellow corn, unregistered vehicle, chain saw blades, oxen, infrared cookers and lady bags worth over 244 million Kyats were confiscated at the Tawwin Bridge in Kawthoung township, in Kamayut township, in Muse township, in Zigon township and at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe) combined checkpoint. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
