Development Works: Graduation ceremony, agriculture & livestock breeding

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htain Nan together with officials attended the 12th Graduation Ceremony of Bamaw University on 27th May.

At the ceremony, the Rector of Bamaw University presented the certificates to the graduate students. Then, the Chief Minister delivered a congratulatory speech and the Rector gave a graduation speech. After that, the Chief Minister and party inspected the damages of the main building of the University and coordinated the needs to repair the ceilings and to install the air conditioners.

Next, the Chief Minister met with the members of Tarmailon  Village Agriculture and Livestock Implementation Committee under the State Economic Promotion Fund at the village monastery.  During the meeting, the Chief Minister urged all to participate in the projects for its success. The official of Kachin State Department of Agriculture explained about the distribution of rice species to the farmers who are engaging in the agriculture tasks with the State Economic Promotion Fund.

The Chief Minister then provided quality paddy seed to the farmers. Afterwards, a committee member of the project expressed words of thanks and reported on the needs for agriculture, education and health sectors. The Chief Minister then coordinated and fulfilled the requirements. Next, the Chief Minister and party inspected the manageable scale pig and cow breeding in the village and coordinated the necessary.
