Education Sector: SAC Member holds meetings with teachers

Member of the State Administration Council [SAC] U Yan Kyaw accompanied by Chairman of the Wa Self-Administered Division Administration Body U Nyi Nap met residents and teachers at the Basic Education High School of Kaungkaw Village in Hopan Township.

During the meeting, the SAC Member stressed that only when students are educated, can they benefit the community and raise the standard of living. The school enrolment rate also should not be less than the previous year. He also met locals, teachers and school board of trustees at the Basic Education Primary School in Manmaing Ward.

In the meeting, he exhorted them to ensure that school-age children remain enrolled in school and to foster the emergence of educated individuals in the community. Also, the SAC member and party visited the Basic Education Primary School in Yongon ward where they assessed the school enrolment situation.
