






Kachin State Chief Minister U Khat Htein Nan and officials attended the opening ceremony of Mandalay-Lashio-BanMaw-Myitkyina concrete Road (Ban Maw Bypass) at (3) Mile Kwat Thit in Banmaw on 26th May for the development of the agriculture and livestock breeding enterprises being conducted with State Economic Promotion Fund and socioeconomic of the residents.
At the occasion, the Chief Minister gave a speech and heard reports on construction and upgrading inter-district roads and a local resident expressed words of thanks.
Then, Chief Justice of State High Court, Deputy Commander of the Nothern Command, State Ministers and officials opened the ceremony by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. Next, the Chief Minister unveiled the inscription by pressing the auto button. And, the Chief Minister and party took a documentary photo with the local residents and presented cash awards to traditional dance troupes who performed at the ceremony.
Then, the Chief Minister and party attended the planting ceremony for the greening and beautifying of Myittar Mon Garden in Tharsi Ward of BaMaw Township for the emergence of a beautiful recreational spot for the residents and gave necessary instructions.
In the afternoon, the Chief Minister and Party visited ManYay Village in BanMaw and inspected the construction of the merchant road met and encouraged the local residents to participate in the development of the village and coordinated necessary.
Then, the Chief Minister and party inspected the implementation of library project and construction of water purifying industry and installing pipes in village monastery and donated cash assistance and offertories to the presiding Sayadaw.
Then, the Chief Minister and party inspected “Shan Star” workshop, Broom production, livestock farms, Rubber sheet production in the village and coordinated the requirements.
Then, the Chief Minister and party attended the presenting honorary certificates to well-wishers and donors who donated cash for the cyclone MOCHA-hit areas and presented honorary certificates to the well-wishers and provided 1 million kyats for the Basic Education Schools in Shwe Ku Township.
