Efforts for education development: SAC member inspected high schools in Shan State

Member of State Administration Council Dr. Kyaw Tun, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, state ministers, state advocate general, state head officer of education department and officials met with the teachers, community elders and students at No (4) Basic Education High School in Heho Township, No (3) Basic Education High School in Aung Ban Township and Industrial Zone Basic Education High School in Aye Thaya Town on 26th of May.

At 9 AM, the SAC member, Chief Minister and party met with the teachers, community elders and students at No (4) Basic Education High School in Heho Township and gave necessary instructions including the implementation of free and compulsory education from KG to Grade-9, free education aids of ball point pen, pencil, exercise books, textbooks and school uniform provided by the government, cooperation of parents, school committee and student for all school age children to back to school etc.

The Chief Minister pledged to fulfill requirements by taking ground inspection when the school are opened and the Shan State Government will address the education sector.

The SAC member and Chief Minister heard the report of the school principal, provided cash assistance for the school and cordially greeted the teachers, community elders and students.

At 11 AM, the SAC members and Chief Minister also met with the teachers, community elders and students at No (3) Basic Education High School in Aung Ban Township and at 2 PM in the Industrial Zone Basic Education High School of Aye Thaya Town, heard the reports of school principals and school committee, gave supplemented discussions regarding with the requirements, urged to cooperate for the school age children to enroll the school and provided cash assistance at each schools.
