Humanitarian Aid: Donation for cyclone-affected people in Rakhine & Chin states

Magway Region government organized a ceremony to accept the cash donation and relief aid for the cyclone-affected people in Rakhine and Chin states at the Town Hall in Magway with the attendance of Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and many other officials.

This ceremony began with a speech by the Chief Minister. And, the Chief Minister and officials accepted the cash donation and relief aid and presented certificates of honour to the donors. At the ceremony, Aung Say Sayadaw from YaZa Aung Myay Monestry in Nay Pyi Taw donated over 5.1 million kyats and aid worth over 3 million kyats, and well-wishers donated over 260 million kyats.
