MOCHA Aftermath: Magway Region Chief Minister inspects pagoda and dam

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin inspected the implementation for cleaning of the Mann Shwe Sett Taw Pagoda and Yin Shae Dam in Nga Phae Township. First, at the the Mann Shwe Sett Taw Pagoda, the Chief Minister and officials inspected water flow of the Mann Creek and implementation of cleaning processes by the officials at Auk Set Taw Yar (LowerSet Taw Yar) and gave instructions on maintanance of the Pagoda.

At the Yin Shae Dam, the Chief Minister heard report that the Dam was opened in 2009, the Dam is distributing water with full capacity to 500 acres of farmland in township, high water level due to the Cyclone MOCHA, evacuation of locals from the village to safe places to avoid strong water flow and preservation of the dam. In his response, the Chief Minister gave necessary instructions for maintanance of the Dam and upgrade process.
