Assistance for storm-hit people: Relief supplies arrived in Sittwe

Military vessel “Mottama” carrying 104 members and staffs of the Ministry of Electric Power who will carry out rescue measures and necessary materials and food stuff for the storm-affected people in Rakhine State by the very severe cyclonic storm “MOKHA” arrived at Sittway port on Thursday morning.

Member of the SAC Deputy Prime Minister Admiral Tin Aung San together with the Union Ministers and officials inspected measures for transportation of relief aid and supplies carried by military vessel (Mottama) by local Tatmadawmen, departmental staffs and volunteer organizations and coordinated the needs.
