Cyclone Updates: “MOCHA” is moving near Paletwa, China State

According to the observations at 5:30 pm M.S.T on Sunday by the Meteorology and Hydrology Department, the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm “MOCHA” that has made landfall near Sittwe, has moved North-Northeastwards.

“MOCHA” is now moving North-Northeastwards near Paletwa in Chin State as a Very Severe Cyclonic Strom, and the present stage is coded brown stage. It is likely to continue to moving North- Northeastwards to Magwe Region (North), Sagaing and Mandalay Region (North) as a Cyclonic Storm during next 12 hours, and towards Kachin State and Shan State (North) as land depression during next 24 hours.
