Educational Activities: Kachin State School Enrollment Week for 2023-2024 AY

A ceremony to open the signboard on the Kachin State School Enrollment Week for 2023-2024 academic year was held at the state education officer office in Myitkyina on 5th May. The State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan opened the signboard saying “Let's enroll quickly for all school-age children not far from education" as the school enrollment week of Kachin State from 25th to 31st May together with officials.

From there, the State Chief Minister and party attended the opening of the Introduction to Data-base training course-2 organized by the State Directorate of Investment and Company Administration.At the opening ceremony, the Chief Minister said that by applying the Databse softwares for the statistics of the departments and offices, it will make correct, adaptable, sample, safe and secure as well as it will support e-Government system of the State on the other hand.

He called for the attendees to learn the course with interest and apply effectively the knowledge gained from the course at their work site as the course is for human resource development. The State Chief Minister then cordially met 34 officer and staff trainees from the respective departments at the training hall. On the 8th May, the State Chief Minister attended the final match of State Chief Minister’s Cup Inter-township U-18 Men’s football tournament.

At the event, Waing Maw Township team beat Myitkyina township team 1:0. It was followed by the prize awarding ceremony and the State Chief Minister, the State Ministers and officials  presented awards and honouraria to 1st, 2nd and 3rd winning townships, the best player awards for the event as well as certificates of honour to departments and organizations who contributed their efforts for the football match.

The State Chief Minister also presented the championship trophy to the 1st winning Waing Maw township team and the Chief Justice of the State Court awarded 300,000 kyats for the 1st winning team.
