Dozens of families reunite at US-Mexico border

Dozens of migrant families sealed Saturday a reunion on the border separating Mexico and the United States, guarded by U.S. security forces.Organized by humanitarian groups that support migrants and Mexican and U.S. authorities, the tenth edition of the event known as "Abrazos, no muros" (Hugs, not walls) was held on the borders of the Rio Bravo.

About 150 Mexican migrant families began crossing the river in mid-morning to meet their loved ones, whom they had not seen for years, while being watched by authorities.Created in 2016, the initiative allows families separated by immigration policies to reunite for a few minutes after years of separation.
