Illegal Trade: Illegal vehicle, goods and teak confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the1st, 3rd and 4th of May, an unregistered vehicle and illegal goods including vacuum cups, used tyres, palm oil, teak and hardwood worth over 103 million Kyats were confiscated in North Okkalapa township and at the Mayanchaung permanent checkpoint and at the Thanlwin Bridge combined checkpoint as well as in Bago and Toungoo districts.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
