Myanmar / Russia: Union Minister receives Orthodox Metropolitan

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko received a Russian delegation led by Orthodox Metropolitan of Singapore and South-East Asia His Eminence Sergiy.

This meeting at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday afternoon focused on construction of a Russian Orthodox Church and issues that can further strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries through religious and cultural cooperation between Myanmar and Russia. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister and many other officials of the Ministry.
