Myanmar / China: Prime Minister receives Minister of Foreign Affairs

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Tuesday afternoon received Mr. Qin Gang, a member of the Leading CPC Members Group of the State Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China.

In this meeting at the office of the Chairman of the State Administration Council in Nay Pyi Taw, the Minister of Foreign Affairs said that such a visit not only shows the friendship between the two countries, but also shows China's position on Myanmar's side in the international arena.

And, the meeting continued with discussions on acceleration of bilateral diplomatic relations, friendship and cooperation, Myanmar's political situation and efforts for the country's stability and development, stability and development of the border region, promotion of border trade, cooperation in the development of the energy and electricity sector, investment and cooperation on political, foreign and development sectors.

After the meeting, they exchanged memorable gifts. It’s reported that it’s the 1st visit of Mr. Qin Gang to Myanmar as a member of the Leading CPC Members Group of the State Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China.
