Religious Ceremony: Kason Water Pouring festivalat Shwedagon Pagoda

The 40thKason Water Pouring Festival is set to be held on 3rd of May, the full-moon day of Kason at Shwedagon Pagoda in a grandeur and thronged manner.

The ceremony will commence at 7:00 am on the full-moon day at the Maha Bodhi tree at the Tuesday Corner of the pagoda with the participation of the Ovadacariya Sayadawgyis, members and staff of Shwedagon Pagoda Treasurers’ Board of Trustees and religious organizations.

Aiming to be able to participate in performing meritorious activities and the water pouring festival for the public on the full-moon day of Kason, the religious organizations and staff of Shwedagon pagoda will assist the devotees at the Bodhi trees of 4 corners of the pagoda.
