Education Sector: Completion of new school building construction

Construction of New school building has completed to establish Technical, Agriculture and Livestock Breeding High School in the compound of the Basic Education High School (Saku) in Minbu Township of Magway Region. There are 6 classrooms in the new school building and essential teaching equipments will be provided. During the upcoming Academic Year, only 60 students will be accepted according to the regulations.

Director, Thet Lay Oo, Region Education Office (Magway) said "New school building with 6 classrooms for Technical, Agriculture and Livestock Breeding High School has completed. We plan to teach 30 students each for Technical, Agriculture and Livestock Breeding. And we also try to accept more students depending on their interests. When they complete three year training courses, certificates will be presented for their livelihood and for the outstanding students, they can conduct further studies in Technical, Agriculture and Livestock Breeding Universities and Colleges."

Likewise, for those who want to apply the Technical, Agriculture and Livestock Breeding High Schools, they must be Myanmar citizenship and have to complete Grade-9 level with the age of under 20 and must be healthy for their practical works. After they complete three years training course, certificates will be presented.
