








With a total of 8 billion Kyats from the Country’s Economic Promotion Fund, the villages in respective districts and townships in Kachin State were disbursed loans for the development of the state and boosting economy of the state. For maintaining the momentum of progress of the industries, the state government held a coordination meeting with the state, districts and townships supervisory committees at the Malikha Hall of the state government in the afternoon on 24th April with the attendance of the patron of state level village project supervisory committee Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan.
At the meeting, the chief minister stressed the need to comply with the financial procedures, orders and directives and urged to operate the funds to revolve regularly.
Next, the chairman of state level village project supervisory committee state minister for economic affairs clarified the directives to be adopted regarding with the suggestions on the ground inspection of industries operating with the economic promotion fund and the committee members supplemented necessary matters. Next, the district and township chairmen of supervisory committees reported the status of ground inspection and the matters to be fulfilled and the state level committee members supplemented requirements.
In responding to the reports and suggestions, the Chief Minister urged to obey the financial rules, orders and directives and coordinated requirements.
At 1 PM on April 25th, the Chief Minister attended and gave a remark at the ceremony of assigning duty for the visions of regional projects for 2023-2024 fiscal year in Kachin State held at the Malikha Hall.
Then, the Chief Minister assigned duty for implementation of the visions of regional projects for 2023-2024 fiscal year to the state minister for economic affairs U Myo Swe, for fully implementing the project objectives to the state head officers of the department of agriculture and the district administrators and officials concerned.
Next, the chairman of state plans implementation committee state minister for economic affairs clarified the plans drafted on depending on the allocation of the budget from the Union Government, plans drafted and the targets for the development of the respective sectors and the Chief Minister gave necessary instructions and coordinated requirements.
