Two dead, several injured in Madrid restaurant fire

Two people died Saturday during a fire at a restaurant in the Spanish capital of Madrid.According to the city’s emergency services, firefighters rescued at least of twelve customers of the restaurant located in the Salamanca quarter of downtown Madrid.

The fire began a little after 21:00GMT at a table close to the entrance of Burro Canaglia, a local branch of an Italian restaurant chain.The source of the fire is still under investigation.The restaurant had a capacity of 60 people inside and 40 on the outside terrace.
