US Vice President announces climate change investment

US Vice President Kamala Harris visits Miami to announce a $562 million investment aimed at helping American coastal communities fight climate change.

She said the “administration will invest $562 million dollars to fund climate resilient projects in 149 coastal cities, towns and counties across America." She added that these investments will not only protect the environment, but will also strengthen the economy.
